WilloWood  was formed in the 1980s when Trudy Shotliff and Eric Hutchins were students of music at the University of Montana.  Beginning with original material, they quickly branched into music of the Baroque and Renaissance, as well as arrangements of music of other eras, including Folk and Popular tunes.  After Eric obtained a mandolin, the duo discovered the pleasures of Irish and Scottish fiddle tunes which they play in unison, Trudy on the piccolo.  Their repertoire continues to expand and now includes Jazz Standards and Bossa Nova as well.

WilloWood has performed recitals at the University of Montana, the Missoula Museum of the Arts, the 'Out-To-Lunch' programs in Missoula and Hamilton, and for many weddings and private engagements throughout Western Montana.
